Hello fellow wind hunters, looks like we're in for a good weekend with SE-SSE winds at 30kt sat and 17kt Sun.

Love to meet up on Saturday for an arvo blast in a park, how about Cannon Hill "Murarrie sports fields" around 3pm unless you have a better place. Sent out texts...

Sunday morning we'll be heading to Red beach for the 9am low tide, I'll be there from 7am if anyone is looking for me.

Hope to see you there.

Saturday at Murarrie was a lot of fun with 6 karts in all and it was great to see Len and Fraser at a group outing after so long absent. We also had the newest Blokart kid on the block in Charlie and his son with a kart he bought off Judy. With a few minor spills they both had the handle on landsailing pretty quick and even tried out the short course we set up in the middle of the park.
There was about 20kt of SE wind and the grass was fairly short so it made it interesting to say the least. I put on the Shadow as I had some friends along for a test ride and even two up were travelling along at 40kph over the bumpy terrain. We had 3 hours of on/off sailing as the wind dropped down below the tree line and swirled about in different areas of the park.

Judy, Bernie and I didn't get enough Sat, so we went to Bribie Sunday morning at 7am and had a ball on the unusally wide beach. Bernie and I setup the Deuce bar between our karts and raced Judy down to the gun barrel. Again we spent about 3 hours having fun on our favourite beach before packing up and going for fish and chips on the passage shoreline.

Another fantastic Blokart weekend, I wonder what the other half were doing???

Yes Brett, Fantastic weekend of sailing. I was so exhausted I had to sleep all Sunday afternoon!! How am I going to survive THREE days of racing in March??

Glad that the rain held off all weekend and it was good to get back to Murrarie. Seems like quite a while since we have been there. Also good to see six karts out and about. Sunday at Bribie was excellent as always and good to go in the morning before all the general public with dogs, kids, etc are out and about. Fish and chips for lunch and enjoying the scenery just really tops off a perfect day.

Hopefully do it all again soon and in the meantime I will enjoy my five days at Moreton with easterly forecasts!!
