The forecast is for SSE 20knt winds with a low tide at around 3:30pm.

I guess that means that someone will need to twist my arm and go for another sail at Bribie and I will just happen to have my new kart by then!!

Anyone going to join us. I might be able to tempt you wish fish and chips for lunch beforehand!!

Had a wild time at Red Beach on Friday afternoon with 30kt winds.
Our male friends went for a run and got the BloKart grin, but we couldn't convince the wives. (It was a bit too wild.)
Unfortunately, we had to come home earlier than planned on Saturday.
Hope to see everyone soon.
PRAY FOR WIND!

Hi Greg,

Sorry you couldnt join us on Saturday.

I got there first at 1:30pm and thought I must have misread the tide chart as there as so much beach available and still 2 hours until low tide. We could actually sail from the water right up to nearly the trees. The king tides had really flattened the whole beach and much better then the week before when there was quite a dropoff in the middle of the beach.

Not long after I arrived we had Andrew, Christine, kids and a german friend arrive and then new visitor Charlie and finally Bernie. We set up the five karts and then Liz and family arrived not long after with their 2 karts. With 7 karts, 8 adults and 4 kids I think thats the most we have ever had on Bribie!!

After quite a few hours of swapping and changing around we finally managed to lever Matt out of my sports kart and packed up and headed to Scoops for icecream. We suddenly realised it was 7pm so I guess that was dinner taken care of and Liz and family had a drive back to the Gold Coast.

Fabulous afternoon and sorry for anyone that couldnt make it (ie Brett!!) as missed a great time. Hopefully wont be too long before we can go again.
